Target species

What you catch in Bahía Solano, species by species

These are the species actually caught in Bahía Solano, with the season of the year they appear in and the technique used to target them.

The Colombian Pacific off Bahía Solano brings together billfish such as blue marlin and sailfish, bottom species such as cubera snapper, and inshore fishing for roosterfish and tarpon. Deep water and reef structure sit within an hour by boat of each other, which is what gives the area so much variety in so little space.
